The Westchester Institute for Human Development’s 2026 Annual Gala, Together We Thrive: Celebrating the Power of Community and Leadership, was held on May 13, 2026, at the Scarsdale Golf Club, bringing together community leaders, partners, supporters, and friends for an inspiring evening in support of WIHD’s mission. The evening celebrated the power of partnership, compassion, and community while raising critical funds to support WIHD’s programs and services for people with disabilities and vulnerable children throughout the Hudson Valley.

WIHD was proud to honor White Plains Hospital with the Katherine A. Kelly Service Award, Cuddy & Feder LLP with the Community Partner Award, and Dr. Susan Fox with the Legacy Award for their extraordinary leadership, partnership, and dedication to the individuals and families WIHD serves.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet dinner, a moving program highlighting WIHD’s impact, and an exciting live auction and paddle raise in support of WIHD’s Building on Excellence Capital Campaign. Throughout the evening, powerful stories and reflections reinforced the importance of creating inclusive communities where all people can thrive.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors, donors, volunteers, committee members, and attendees, the gala raised more than $210,000 to support WIHD’s mission and future growth. WIHD extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this year’s gala such a meaningful and successful celebration of community and leadership.
